UPDATED JULY 20,2007...MORE TO COME
If you guys have a fishing report that you want to let the world know about email me at postmaster@craterbass.com
Dorena 4/21-22/07
Weather conditions were as hard as this club has seen in a tournament yet and the fish count shows it. The weights were likewise much lower than expected for the record setting lake we normally know Dorena to be. Fisher-mation. 18( eighteen) fish were caught and all were brought to the scales. 9 (nine) (50%) of the fish were caught on Sencos in either cinnamon/ purple flake, watermelon/ red flake or blue flake and one smoke/ red flake. 3 (Three) (16%) of the fish were caught on white flukes. 2 (two)(11%) were caught on a cinnamon creature bait. 1 (one)(5%) fish was caught on each of the following; watermelon/red flake horny toad, woolly hog tail and one on a popper. 18 fish weighing 48.08 lbs. were brought to the scales for a 2.67 pound average. Most of the fish were caught in, you guessed it, the grass flats. Ho-hum. Two fish were reported caught at Rat Creek (that’s still more than 20%). The fish (the few that there were) were caught as shallow a less than 1’ and as deep as 15’, but most were caught deeper than 7’. Sunday was much different, all 11 fish were caught in less than 6’ of water with most in less than 3’. For future fishermation reports we will also be tracking the water temperature of where the fish are caught so try to keep an eye on the temp. sensor. Also we will note early and late weather information. This will enhance the data for future reference. <’(((><
Shasta 3/24-25/07
This was the first time the club has fished Shasta, but many in the club are veterans on the lake, and the size, location and numbers of fish rang true to the predictions, unlike lasts years predictions at Crane Prairie . Fisher-mation. 89( eighty-nine) fish were brought to the scales. 225 (two-hundred twenty five) keeper fish were reported caught., but there were 19 more fish reported caught on Saturday in the sun shine than on Sunday with the cloud cover. 77 (seventy-seven) 34% of the fish were caught on Sencos in either watermelon, green pumpkin or pumpkin. 36 (thirtysix) fish, 16%, were caught on crank baits, the majority of which were caught on a DD-22 in deep water. 34 (thirty-four) 15% were caught on Gitzit’s (Tubes), in the old stand-by watermelon red flake or a brown/ pumpkin color. Twin Tail Hula Grubs caught the next most fish numbering 27 (twenty-seven) or 12% in primarily pumpkin seed, followed closely by pumpkin seed brush hogs bagging 24 (twenty-four) fish, 11%. 3% of the fish, 7 (seven) were caught on pumpkin seed shakey head worms. Drop Shot, jerk baits, swim baits and jigs each caught 2 fish (1%). 89 fish weighing 135.88 lbs. were brought to the scales for a 1.52 average. The difference in Saturday’s and Sunday’s average was minute .05 pounds. On Sat. there were more fish caught in the McCloud Arm than the Pit Arm with the Sacremento Arm having the next most catches. On Sun. the Pit Arm produced more fish than the McCloud Arm with the Back Bone producing the next most fish. Fish were reported caught in anywhere from 2’ to 60’. Sat. most fish caught in 10’ to 20’ but many were reported as shallow as 5’ or less and some fish in the 30’ to 40’ range. Sunday’s fish seemed to be found deeper. Only a few were reported in less than 10’ and most were reported caught 10’ to 20’, but also saw several fish in deeper water up to 60’ Duke, as promised, here is your fisher-mation quiz; 1. What was Chris and Jordon’s 2nd and 3rd top lures used to bag their 9.40 pounds on Sunday? 2. Which angler caught two fish on a drop shot rig, Scott Heroux, Debbie Johnson or Jim Rainey? 3. What is the air speed velocity of an un-laden swallow? <’(((><
Applegate 9/16-17/06
Applegate is not as notorious as Trinity for it’s big fish but it is known for its numbers of keepers. One of these years Applegate will produce a fish that dwarfs Trinity fish...I’ve seen them This fisher-mation will be a little bias due to the same bag tournament and the limited types and numbers of baits we could use. Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
67( sixty-seven) fish were brought to the scales. 93 (ninety-three) keeper fish were reported caught . 41 (forty-one) 44% of the fish were caught on Gitzit’s (Tubes), ranging from Pumpkin, watermelon, black/silver. An astounding 26 (twenty-six) fish 28% of the fish were caught on Buzzbait’s. 11 (eleven) 12% of the fish were caught on Sencos,Pumpkin/watermelon. 8 (eight) 8% of the fish were caught on Spinnerbait’s. 5 (five) 5% were caught on Crankbait’s. Yumdinger and Jig’s each caught 1 (one) 1% each.
67 fish for 79.86 lbs. were brought to the scales for a 1.19 average, However, Applegate was a bonus fish tournament and 10 bonus fish were caught out of 20 team days and that drives down the total avg.
Majority of the larger fish came from the Squaw arm while French Gulch produced a lot of small fish. Carberry produces some nice sized fish and a few reported Largemouth while Barris straight pulled in medium sized fish minus the Big one that snapped Bob Ryan’s line. No talk of Devil’s fingers and only one fish off the Dam. 6.77 feet deep was the average depth of fish reported but the larger ones came from the surface (buzzbaits) and the numbers came from around the 10 foot depth range. <’(((><
Tahkenitch 8/26-27/06
Well folks, Tahkenitch has threatened the six pound club like no other lake. Every Crater tournament fished at Tahkenitch has brought in a fish over 5.50 pounds, 2 of which were in the six pound range and one in the eight pound range. Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
82 (eighty-two) fish were brought to the scales. 107 (one hundred-seven) keeper fish were reported caught . 60 (sixty) 56% of the fish were caught on Senco’s, ranging from Black/Blue, Pumpkin, and watermelon/red flk. Topped off the list. 18 (eighteen) 17% of the fish were caught on Jig’s mostly black and blue. 17 (seventeen) 16% of the fish were caught on spinnerbaits. White. 7 (seven) 6% of the fish were caught on Whooley hog tail’s. 2 (two) 2% were caught on Brushog’s. Crankbait, Yumdinger, Jerkbait all caught 1 (one) each. 1% each. No fish were reported on the banana lure that was fished early, shallow, and at the dock. (joke)
82 fish for 151.92 lbs. were brought to the scales for a nice 1.85 average, compared to last years Tahkenitch of 71 for 121.09 lbs. a 1.70 lb. average. Ironically though 71 fish for 131.61 lbs were brought to the scales at Tenmile for an identical 1.85 average However, Tahkenitch was a bonus fish tournament and 8 bonus fish were caught out of 22 team days and that drives down the total avg. Tahkenitch August ‘06 ranks second in total weight brought in; only to June’s Crane Prairie of 167.79 lbs.
Staggeringly, 55 of the 107 caught (over half) were caught in the 5 mile arm!! Followed by Mallard, Trestles, adjacent to 5 mile, and the north arm in that order. Almost unanimous wood was the pattern followed by pads and weed lines in that order. <’(((><
Tenmile 7/29-30/06
Well, believe it or not, almost twice as many fish where caught at Tenmile than Crane. Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
71 (seventy-one) fish were brought to the scales. 102 (one hundred-two) keeper fish were reported caught . 47 (forty-seven) 46% of the fish were caught on Jigs, ranging from Black/Blue and Brown and Black. 14 (fourteen) 14% of the fish were caught on Senco’s ranging from green pumpkin and watermelon with red flake. 13 (thirteen) 13% of the fish were caught on crankbaits. No colors mentioned. 13 (thirteen) 13% of the fish were caught on Yumdinger’s ranging from green pumpkin and watermelon with red flake. 4 (four) 4% were caught on spinnerbaits...white. Buzzbaits and Chatterbaits each caught 3 (three) 3% each. 2 (two) 2% fish were caught on rattletraps. Topwater, Snackstick’s, and whooley hogtail’s each caught 1 (one) 1% fish respectively.
71 fish for 131.61 lbs were brought to the scales for a nice 1.85 average, compared to last years Tahkenitch of 71 for 121.09 lbs. a 1.70 lb. average. However, Tahkenitch last year was a bonus fish tournament and 11 bonus fish were caught out of 14 team days and that drives down the total avg. note: Tahkenitch had a higher big fish avg.
Staggeringly, 46 of the 102 caught (nearly half) were caught in the Coleman arm area!! Followed by Devore 13, Carlson 11, Shutters 11, South main-lake 9, Blacks arm 9, South lake island 2, and surprisingly Templeton only 1. Majority reported outside wood ,wave breaks, and emerging wood as there pattern followed by docks, pads and weed lines in that order. <’(((><
Crane Prairie 6/18-18/06
Well this will be easier to calculate!
I hope this isn’t indicative to the Crane Prairie of the future . Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
54 (fifty-four) fish were brought to the scales. 62 (sixty-two) keeper fish were reported caught . 36 (thirty-six) 58% of the fish were caught on Jigs, ranging from Black/Blue and Brown and Black. 20 (twenty) 32% of the fish were caught on Senco’s ranging from green pumpkin and watermelon with red flake. 5 (five) 8% of the fish were caught on crankbaits. No colors mentioned. 1 (one) 2% of the fish were caught on Spinnerbait’s ...white
54 fish for 167.79 lbs were brought to the scales for a nice 3.10 average, compared to last months Trinity of 46 for 121.09 lbs. a 2.63 lb. average. Believe it or not, this is the most weight ever brought to the scales followed by this years April Dorena tournament with 143.41 lbs. For what it’s worth Crane beat the next largest weight by nearly 25 pounds! I’m shocked!
Majority of the fish came from Quinn creek area followed by the rocky bank of the lava rocks. Few of the fish came from the wood just off the channel while another few came from the wood towards the middle of the lake.
Majority of the teams targeted wood while the rest targeted rocks while one team targeted grass in a 65-30-5 percent fashion and most of the fish were caught early in an average of five foot deep. <’(((><
Trinity 5/6-7/2006
How about those big smallmouth’s!
Trinity was exceptional for the bigger fish but the numbers were down a little from last year . Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
46 (forty-six) fish were brought to the scales. 74 (seventy-four) keeper fish were reported caught and no little fish, (under 11”) were caught. 20 (twenty) 27% of the fish were caught on you guessed it, Senco’s ranging from Black/Blue, Cinnamon Brown, Smoke purple, Watermelon, and trout color. The most popular color was Smoke and Cinnamon Brown though. 20 (twenty) 27% of the fish were caught on Gitzit’s. Colors weren’t really mentioned but I heard brown’s were a popular choice. 15 (fifteen) 20% of the fish were caught on Spinnerbait’s all white and some with white trailers and some with chartreuse trailers. 8 (eight) 11% of the fish were caught on Crankbaits primarily reddish in color. 4 (four) 5% of the fish were caught on Rip baits. 3 (three) 4% were caught on Jerkbait’s including the 6.13 which was caught on a Lucky Craft “Stacey”. 1 (one) 1.5% fish on a drop shot. 1 (one) 1.5% fish on a Rattle Trap. 1 (one) 1.5% fish on a Blade Dancer. 1 (one) 1.5% fish on a Jig.
46 fish for 121.09 lbs were brought to the scales for a nice 2.63 average, compared to last years 27 for 66.70 lbs. a 2.47 lb. average.
By far most of the fish came from the Tailings. Second most mentioned was East fork. Then swift creek/Ball park area. Chris Conner found fish on his “Captain’s Point” some where south towards the dam and Bob Moore found some fish in a cove just south of the Marina
6 pound club starts over for those who’ve not re-anteed. <’(((><
DORENA 4/8-9/2006
Wow! This one’s going to be harder than last month!
Dorena was exceptional considering the weather we’ve been having this year . Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is yoouurr…. Fisher-mation.
54 (fifty-four) fish were brought to the scales. 72 (seventy-two) keeper fish were reported caught and no little fish, (under 11”) were caught. Countless (30+) fish were lost trying to get-em in and all of the plastic bite was very subtle. 50 (yes fifty) 69% of the fish were caught on you guessed it, Senco’s ranging from Black/Blue, Cinnamon Brown, Smoke purple, Watermelon, and trout color. The most popular color was Black/Blue and Cinnamon Brown though. 8 (eight) 11% of the fish were caught on jerkbait’s ranging from Lucky Craft’s American shad, Rapala, and Yozuri’s blue silver shiner. 5 (five) 7% of the fish were caught on swim baits. 3 (three) 4% were caught on a drop shot rigging. 2 ( two) 3% were caught on spinnerbaits. 2 (two) 3% were caught on the legendary Whooley hog tail. 1 (one) 1.5% fish on a carolina rigged worm and 1 (one) 1.5% fish from a Crankbait.
54 fish for 143.41 lbs were brought to the scales for a nice 2.65 average, compared to last years 19 for 48.59 lbs. a 2.55 lb. average. This years biggest weight was 18.47 compared to last years 18.97 lbs. which is still the heaviest for the club to date. I think it might be in jeopardy in the next couple of months though.
Pretty much all but 10 fish came off the big grass flat. 5 fish came off the rocks, 4 off moss by row river inlet, and 1 from rat creek.
Not a jig fish to speak of! Are Senco’s taking over jig’s? Stay tuned. <’(((><
TAHKENITCH 3/25-26/2006
Wow! This one’s going to be easy!
Tahkenitch wasn’t bad for a few but brutal for most. What can I say, it’s March fishing in Oregon. Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the info that keeps em’ coming back for more, (drum roll please) here is why yoouurr….
Needless to say no culling took place this weekend. Sixteen (16) fish were brought to the scales, seven (7) of the fish (44%) came from spinnerbaits mainly in the white variety fished shallow except for one fish in 15’. Most were caught slow rolling just off the weeds. Five (5) fish (31%) came off Sencos. All were 4” long and all but one came from black/blue color and the other came from red once the sun came up. Three (3) fish (19%) came from the legendary whooley hog tail in the bluish flavor (color). Only one (1) measly fish (6%) came off of jigs, black/blue. Five (5) fish came from the weed island area and another five (5) came from the North arm. Catfish cove trestle brought in four (4) of the fish. Mallard and Five mile brought in one (1) fish a piece.
44.51 lbs were brought to the scales for a nice 2.718 average, compared to last years 41.28 lbs. for a 2.064 lb. average. Are the fish getting bigger?
Four fish over four lbs came in with three of them breaking the five lb barrier. Now for the interesting part, 56% of the fish came from the North arm area including 25% of the total fish off the Catfish cove trestle alone. All but 1 of the 4 +lb fish came from that very trestle caught a slow falling presentation in 16 ft of water but the bite was half way down. The big fish came off the weed island under a lily pad in about 4 ft of water. Mallard and five mile proved once again not very productive in the spring. “But what happened to last years jig bite?” Once again the fish gods stumped me.
(No pun intended Bob Ryan) <’(((><
Irongate Sept. 25/2005
Irongate turned out to be tough for the most part especially because of the 17 boat tournament the day before. You know, Im going to miss writing these for a while but itll be back around before you can say, big ol' bucket-mouth with a pork belly on a pig and jig.
Here's the Fisher-mation. Eighteen (18) fish were brought to the scales. Nineteen (19) keeper sized fish (12") were caught this weekend.8 of the fish, (42%) were caught on Sencos. Mostly from watermelon/red flake and smoke with red and black flake. 6 of the fish, (32%) were caught on Jigs. No color specified. 2 fish (11%) were caught on a purple Buzzbait. 1 fish (5%) caught on a spinnerbait. 1 fish (5%) caught on a green worm, and 1 fish (5%) was caught on a creature bait. No color Specified.Majority of the fish came from the Jenny creek area with a few repots of fish taken from the right side of the Copco arm and Camp creek cove. Now, for another interesting point, Sencos still dominate even with the Second Hand bag that everyone got. I guess it's stick to what's comfortable if not profitable. Jigs finally made a comeback in the line up thanks to the Ironman. The larger fish came from buzzbaits. Sorry Scott about that. A mere 22.94 lbs. came in on Sunday.
1.27 lb average...yikes! And if it wasn't for ConMan's 3.11 it wound have been worse! <'(((><
Tahkenitch 8/6-7/2005
Tahkenitch turned out to be a reel surprise. From fishing to camping, Forest Service debacle to boat ramp, things turned out opposite to what I had envisioned prior to departure. In my mind fishing Tahkenitch was about as good as a tournament as can take place. Here's the Fisher-mation. Seventy-one (71) fish were brought to the scales. One hundred thirty-two (132) keeper sized fish (10) were caught this weekend. Sixty-three (63) on Saturday, Sixty-nine (69) on Sunday. GREAT WEEKEND!! :)
Here's the Fisher-mation. 65 of the fish, (49%) were caught on Sencos. Mostly from watermelon/red flake. Next was smoke purple, then black and blue followed by PBJ (thats a sandwich isnt it?). 30 of the fish, (23%) Spinnerbaits. Colors mainly white including Tylers lunker. 26 fish (20%) were caught on a crankbaits. 5 (4%) fish were caught on jigs. 4 fish, (3%) were caught on a jerkbait. 1 (.7%) brush-hog (brown), 1 (.7%) on a grass-frog. Half the fish came out of the Five mile arm. Second most reported was all over??? (that pretty much narrows it down) Next was Mallard arm with two reports. North arm where Tyler caught his big fish was the only report from that region. Erics big fish came from the small cove trestle behind the island. The 5.94 came from a main lake point in the Five mile arm. Unanimously fish were caught on visible wood rather than pads, rocks, or trestles. Now, for another interesting point, Sencos still dominate and Spinnerbaits took over the Gitzit and jig spot. Probably due to the wood for the gitzits but Im puzzled about the jigs. Only 5 out of 132. Looks like jigs are hotter in the early spring than summer at tahkenitch
Jigs out fished sencos in march. (log all that away in your memory banks) Finally some spinnerbait and crankbait fish numbers were reported. 75.81 lbs. on Saturday an 52.32 on Sunday.
128.13 Total weekend. 1.8 lb average but without the bonus fish it would have been around 2.0 lbs. Not too bad!! <'(((><
Irongate 7/16-17/2005
Irongate turned out to be a microwave and I think it cooked all the fish as well. This fisher-mation is going to be a little easier than the last one so... Here's the Fisher-mation. Twenty-four (24) fish were brought to the scales. Twenty-four (24) keeper sized fish (12) were caught this weekend... TOUGH!! :(
Here's the Fisher-mation 9 of the fish, (38%) were caught on Sencos. Ranging from watermelon/red flake, rootbeer, and purple w/gold flake. 7 of the fish, (29%) were caught on Jigs. Colors mainly black/black and red. 2 fish (8%) were caught on a buzzbait, one with a trailer. 2 fish, (8%) were caught on a willy hog craw. 1 (4%) on an Ika (brown), 1 (4%) on a Gitzit, 1 (4%) on a super brushhog and 1 (4%) on a devils horse. More fish came out of the Narrows than any other place on the lake. Second runner up was the main lake points at the beginning of the Jenny creek arm. Notable mentions were, Jenny creek itself, mirror cove, outhouse cove and the ski buoy's to round it out. The bigger fish were caught deep and early 15-30 feet. Smaller fish came in the 3-8 foot range. Now, for another interesting point, Sencos still dominate and Jigs took over the Gitzit spot. Looks like teams fish jigs more when Largemouth are present and Gitzits when Smallmouth are around. Still not much Crankbaits and Spinnerbaits to speak of. Slow year. Compare %s of baits the fish were caught on
Strikingly familiar! Remember, if you do what youve always done, youll get what youve always gotten. <(((><
Applegate 6/18-19/2005
Applegate turned out to be a lot of action for everyone. Everyone caught fish and most contributed to their teams total weight. The accommodations were great and the weather was fine wit ha little bit of wet stuff. This fisher-mation is going to be tough but,
Here's the Fisher-mation. One hundred-six (106) fish were brought to the scales. Two hundred-ten (210) keeper sized fish (10) were caught this weekend... 89 of the fish, (41%) were caught on Sencos. 56 of the fish, (26%) were caught on gitzits. 41 of the total fish, including the big fish (20%) were taken on Worms. 8 of the fish, (4%) were caught on crankbaits. 8 of the fish, (4%) were caught on Jigs. 3 fish (1%), Drop Shot. 2 fish (1%) Creature baits. 2 fish (1%) Top water. More fish came out of the Squaw arm on Saturday than Sunday. The winning weight Sunday came from Carberry creek area. No pattern much to speak of except for the water depth. Primarily 10 to 15 feet deep was where majority of the fish were caught. A lot of people talked about rocky willow points, however, Teams found them just about everywhere. Now, for the interesting part. For those of you who still have old newsletters (and I know you do. Who would want to throw away fine writing like this), compare %s of baits the fish were caught on
Strikingly familiar! Remember, If you do what youve always done, youll get what youve always gotten. <(((><
Trinity May 14 & 15/2005
Trinity, is a lake as John Grey puts it, Fishing Trinity can be a lot like police work, hours of boredom, punctuated by moments of sheer terror, followed by pure joy when that hog is finally in the net. I couldnt have said it better myself. After the tournament it looked like most everyone shied away from the ripbaits, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Teams switched to a slower pattern probably cause the fish were on bed everywhere.
Here's the Fisher-mation. Twenty-seven fish were brought to the scales. Seventy (70) keeper fish (12) total were caught this weekend... 13 of the fish, (48%) including the big fish were caught on Gitzits, primarily pumpkin seed, white, and smoke. 11 of the fish, (40%) were caught on Sencos. White, Watermelon, pumpkin. 1 fish, (4%) taken on white spinnerbait. 1 fish, (4%) ripbait, Lucky craft pointer. 1 fish, (4%) caught on Yumdinger, green pumpkin seed color. Majority of all fish were caught in the north part of the lake in the tailings, the Ball park area mainly the flat, and one limit from the dam area but were smaller fish. Only one fish came from the east fork area. None from the marina cove. <(((><
Dorena April 9 & 10/2005
Dorena turned out to be "your on them or you not". Fishing was almost nonexistent on Saturday because of the cold front but picked up substantially on Sunday with some nice fish coming in at weigh in. Oh! The park manager, Dawn, said that everything went well and welcomed Crater Bass back anytime we'd like. She also appreciated Bob Moore's remodel of camp sight #7. She said it allows more room for maneuvering. From now on we'll call it Bob's camp. Sorry Bob!
Here's the Fisher-mation. Nineteen fish were brought to the scales. Twenty-two fish total were caught this weekend... 9 of the fish, (41%) including the big fish were caught on Sencos, primarily watermelon and green pumpkin seed. 6 of the fish, (27%) were caught on Creature baits. 3 of the total fish, (14%) were taken on Jigs, brown/orange and green. 2 of the fish, (9%) were caught on crankbaits. 2 of the fish, (9%) were caught on Powerworms. Mainly Pumpkin seed color. No spinnerbait fish were mentioned. Majority of all fish were caught in the north and northeast corner. One fish came from the south bank and a few came from the grass flat and close to the creek channel. No fish from Baker Bay across to Rat Creek, west toward the dam.
Tahkenitch March 5 & 6/2005
Tahkenitch turned out to be friend to some but foe to others. Fishing wasn't unreal but it could have been worse, considering early March on Tahkenitch. Oh! And I finally found out the name of the arm thats in the north part of the lake
Drum roll please
the North Arm. Go figure.
Here's the Fisher-mation. Twenty fish were caught... 9 of the fish, (45%) including the big monster were caught on Jigs, primarily Black/Blue. Big fish was with a pig trailer (not plastic and Jim farmed off approximately a 4 lber. in the 5-mile arm Sat.). 7 bass (35%) were caught on sencos also mainly black/blue. 4 fish (20%) were pulled in on 3/8 oz. white spinnerbaits w/ white trailers attached. Only one fish that I heard of came out of the 5-mile arm and it was all the way up the creek channel past the duck blind. The majority, including the monster, came from up the lake past the 5 mile trestle though the next trestle into the North Arm across from catfish cove. Others came from Mallard Arm and Hwy. 101 boat ramp area. Bobs 5.15 came off the little trestle adjacent to the big island. One blade fish came from Mallard creek area and Three came from the grass islands across from the highway boat ramp. Senco fish came from primarily from the Powerhouse cove, mallard creek, and the North Arm. 85% of all fish came off wood...6ft.-20ft of water.
